Today I am going to introduce to you GLOBAL AUTO JAPAN ( http://www.global-auto.ne.jp/ ).

Let me give you a little bit of a background. This dealership is specifically interesting! Its focused on very, sometimes even super very, modified JDM Street Legal cars!

Check it out, see if your dream car is on the list: Nissan, Toyota, Mazda, Subaru, Honda, Mitsubishi and a few other car makes can be found on their lot at the same time. I'd guess around 100+ cars on the lot at any given time. Average horsepower range is 400-500hp in each car. Another special characteristic of this dealership in huge interest of Skyline GT-R's, more than any other car.

I have NEVER seen a dealership in Japan that has SO MANY limited edition cars, R32 NISMO, R32 Spec V, Spec V II, you name it! Limited edition Tomei, Nismo, HKS, Greddy engine blocks! And some very rare Nismo blocks, only have 80 blocks in production. Don't be surprised to come across ex-demo cars on this lot.

JDM Street Legal Legend - Hosaka Tuning Factory R34 700hp

Today's pick is a well known car around Japan, not so much in North America.

Hosaka Tuning Factory R34 700hp


Hosaka Tuning Factory is happy to present their steroid child. This car is a record holder in Tsukuba.
The amount of engineering, work, fabrication, custom parts that went into this car is unbelievable, but its the price Japanese are ready to pay to hold the record time!
This time I have decided to post the specs of the car in table format.

Insane JDM street legal RX7 T04R 500whp+ Okada Tuning






























1996 Mazda RX-7 Type RZ

Engineered, built and tuned in famous Okada Shop.
It has STACK carbon faceplate, electronic advanced speedometer (similar champ cars)
In addition to classy body kit, BBS-LM 17" wheels are nice lightweight addition to the puppy. Carbon wing is low and not too tacky for the tuner fashion world.
HKS T04R turbine is equipped with 100mm suction funnel. External HKS wastegate roars down the street under heavy boost of this hungry turbo.
Fuel system consists of 850cc SARD fuel injectors, primary as well as secondary.
In addition to a few more modifications, HKS F-Con SZ is extremely well tuned to handle some serious numbers.
If you haven't been able to tell yet, but the owner prefers HKS racing productions, so the choice of boost controller is obvious: HKS EVC IV and proved to have 440hp at 1.2 bar boost on pump gas, and over 550hp at 1.6 bar on race gas! Not too bad for two rotary 1.3L engine!
All cooling parts consist of HKS products: oil, radiator as well as 3 layer intercooler.
Exhaust is also from HKS, which is nice and classy addition to this well built car.

2 way LSD with OS twin plate clutch and crossed mission have no problem handling these pleasing numbers.

For exterior styling Garage S WEBER Sports carbon bonnet complimented nice to full ORIGIN aero kit.

This car would probably cost around 35k CAD to be imported over to Canada, that would include all lagal papers misc repair margin as well as professional fuel map dyno re-tune. Of course, once it is legal under 15 year old rule. Its well worth all of the money, due to the exceptional craftsmanship and quality parts. Japanese also tend to under boost their cars, so they have some power up their sleeve!

JDM Street Tuning Alto Works, stroker 175hp legal go-cart! (47 pix)

Every second day I will be posting pictures of some of the cars that I got a chance to own and enjoy. These fine tuned JDM street legal amateur

Please get familiarized with 1990 Suzuki Alto Works RS-X.
Its a front wheel drive, front engine Kei car. Absence of useless 4WD offered on this model makes the car particularly light.
Its weight is around 1870 lbs, with me inside and full tank of gas. It has tiny 3 cylinder steel engine; originally 660cc, stroked to 720cc. Fully upgraded with fuel system, drive train and entire suspension setup is by Suzuki Sport.
The entire build and list of mods are incredible, very clean and well put together. Lets not mention that traction is one of the problems, that's to no wonder 1.4 bar boost makes this car to put out 175hp @8500rpm, yes at 8500rpm.
