Please get familiarized with 1990 Suzuki Alto Works RS-X.
Its a front wheel drive, front engine Kei car. Absence of useless 4WD offered on this model makes the car particularly light.
Its weight is around 1870 lbs, with me inside and full tank of gas. It has tiny 3 cylinder steel engine; originally 660cc, stroked to 720cc. Fully upgraded with fuel system, drive train and entire suspension setup is by Suzuki Sport.
The entire build and list of mods are incredible, very clean and well put together. Lets not mention that traction is one of the problems, that's to no wonder 1.4 bar boost makes this car to put out 175hp @8500rpm, yes at 8500rpm.
Here is some background specs:
F6A twin-cam engine
68 mm pistons
HT07 turbo A/R9
2.0 mm Suzuki sport metal head gasket
Take OFF lightweight flywheel
Take OFF clutch
Take OFF LSD
295cc Suzuki Sport injectors with R32 GTR fuel pump
Custom Front Mount Intercooler
Suzuki sport 4" drop Coilover suspension (F7k R5k)
Advan Neova AD07 155/60/R13 on Speed star light wheght wheels
Bride full bucket driver seat
Semi bucket Bride passenger seat
oil pressure, oil temperature, exhaust temperature
Suzuki Sport Guage stand
Suzuki Sport ECU
Custom deep purple paint job
One off full exhaust
There are plenty more parts, but please view the pictures below on some of the mods.
P.S. Sold to a customer in Vancouver BC for 10k CAD. The car already went through a series of transformations.

Very nice looking Alto. Have just got hold of one myself and now have something to aim towards!
ReplyDeleteHey there, I am the current owner of this wild little car.
ReplyDeleteI have it posted on cardomain.com as well.
I have engine torned down right now.
the piston to bore clearances where too much. It burnt pistons and wrecked piston rings and ring grooves, as it turns out the piston were a 67mm which made displacement at 698cc but the next set of 68mm pistons will put up to 720cc.
The trans I thought was going to need a LSD but now will double check to see, the trans has been polished and I have powder coated 30 pieces and it looks awesome.
I can post a hundred newer pictures of the build.
