-59C or -74.2 F Edmonton Wins! Coldest city in Canada! Now thats JDM YO!

Oh yes! What a weather we had! Believe it or not, after a few of mid minus twenties Celsius ground was frozen, HA as if!
This record low temperature made ground so much warmer than the air, and so we had the arctic deep freeze FOG! Extremely ice roads, frozen engine blocks and people living in denial!

Peter Spiker, a meteorologist with Environment Canada, says temperatures in the Edmonton area early Sunday morning were among the coldest anywhere in the country.
The mercury dipped to a frigid -46 at the Edmonton airport, making it the coldest place in Canada, he said.
With the wind chill, it felt more like -59C or -74.2F.
Mr. Spiker said it crushed the same day coldest temperature record of about -33 set in 1968.
